2. Visiting the website (server log files)

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical access data (including IP address, date and time, page accessed, data volume transferred, browser type and operating system). This is required for secure and stable operation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted after a short period unless it is needed to investigate security incidents.
Hosting provider: Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) – delivery as a static website via Cloudflare Pages and the global CDN. Data may be transferred to the USA; the transfer is based on standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR).

3. Contact

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (in particular name, email address and your message) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply.

For transmitting the contact form we use Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA). The form data is transferred to servers in the USA; the transfer is based on standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

4. Appointment booking

If you use the online appointment booking, we process the data you provide to arrange and conduct the appointment (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). For this we use Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA); data may be transferred to the USA (standard contractual clauses and/or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).

5. Fonts

This website embeds fonts (Archivo, IBM Plex Mono) locally on its own server. No data is transferred to third parties – in particular not to Google.

6. Cookies

This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. Technically necessary cookies may be required for operation. Embedded services (e.g. the appointment booking) may set their own cookies when used.

7. Recipients and processors

Your data is only transferred where this is necessary to provide our services – for example to the hosting provider and the services mentioned above (Formspree, Calendly where applicable). Contracts pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with processors.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). 9. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at).

10. Changes

We will amend this privacy policy if the legal situation or our processing activities change. The version currently published on this page applies.
